Purpose: The purpose of this Program Announcement is to invite
applications for research projects that will enhance understanding of
human decision-making processes so that individuals can make more informed
and satisfying choices regarding their health. Specifically, this Program
Announcement seeks to elucidate single-event decision-making processes
at the level of the individual patient or health care provider that are
pertinent to cancer prevention, detection, treatment, survivorship, or
end-of-life care.

for research projects that will expand our knowledge of basic decision-making
processes underlying initiation and long-term maintenance of healthy lifestyle
behaviors that may reduce one's risk of cancer and other chronic diseases,
such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and addiction.
