“Bringing the Message Home: Developing Comprehensive Community”
Poster Description: This poster provides a realistic summary of how communities can implement media projects that states such as Arizona, Massachusetts and California have conducted on a "shoestring" budget. Local communities have the capability of implementing an effective campaign with suitable strength to result in behavior change. The Marquette County "Truth" project has generated a multi-year media project that assisted in the reduction of tobacco use in area youth by 30 percent in just two years.
