The article template is being provided to assist MCC member organizations in communicating the importance of cervical cancer screening.

Members are encouraged to make changes as desired and utilize the template in organizational publications, such as newsletters or journals. The template can be modified in any way to fit the space requirements and audience needs of a given publication.

Suggestions for Using the Template

• Find an expert from your organization who can help you tailor the template to address the issues and needs of your audience. This will make the article more credible to your readers.
  
  
• Be sure to add the name and credentials of the author(s).
  
  
• Check the Cervical Cancer Awareness Month Links to Resources on the MCC Monthly Theme Calendar page for links to organizations that can provide you with more detailed information to supplement this template and tailor your message to your audience.
  
  
• If your organization provides cervical cancer screening services, you can include that information at the end of the article.
  
  
• If your organization is offering special events during January's Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, those events also can be added to the template, helping customize it for your organization.
