Data Entry Training

Entering data into the Michigan Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Information System (MBCIS) WISEWOMAN module is an important responsibility for program staff. Below are step-by-step tutorials on obtaining access to MBCIS and entering data. Before you will be allowed to enter data into the MBCIS WISEWOMAN module, you must complete this course. You must also complete the MBCIS Data User’s Agreement, and send a copy to the address at the bottom of the form.

Print the training materials for our fictitious participant, so you can follow along with the tutorials.

After you print the training materials, click on the links to view each video in order.

• Register for Single Sign On – Leads you through the steps required to obtain access to the State Of Michigan ’s Single Sign On (SSO) System. (If you already have access to SSO, you can skip this video.)

• Subscribe to MBCIS – Once you have access to SSO, you will need to subscribe to the Michigan Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Information System (MBCIS). (If you are already subscribed to MBCIS, you can skip this video.)

• Enrollment – Instructions for completing the Enrollments tab in the MBCIS WISEWOMAN module.

• Health History and Health Risk Questions – Instructions for entering data from the Health History and Health Risk Questions into the proper tabs.

• Screening – Instructions for entering data from the Screening form into the WISEWOMAN Services tab.

• Goals – Instructions for entering data from the Healthy Lifestyle Goals form into the Goals tab.

• Diagnostic – Instructions for entering data from the Referral for Diagnostic Exam form into the WISEWOMAN Services tab.

• Contact Form – Instructions for entering data from the Lifestyle Counseling Contact form into the Contacts tab.
